My Little Tinker began with a mother, a baby and a very different world.

The idea was born in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, when my first daughter was born. Like so many families at that time, we suddenly found ourselves spending most of our days at home, learning how to navigate a completely new routine.

As a new mum, I wanted to find creative ways to keep my little girl curious, engaged and entertained, without relying too heavily on screens and technology.

So I started looking for simple things that encouraged her to touch, explore, build, imagine and discover the world around her.

What started as a personal search soon became a dream: to create a place where other families could find thoughtfully chosen products that make childhood more creative, curious and playful.

In 2022, that dream became a reality with the creation of our store.

My Little Tinker was created to celebrate the little hands that explore, the curious minds that question, and all the wonderfully different ways children learn through play.

​

Because sometimes, the simplest toy can open the door to the biggest adventures.
